Try out this 5 minute hamstring stretch that protects your back. To improve tight hamstrings this is an alternative way to stretch without ruining your back. If you have a tight back, reaching forward over your legs to stretch your hamstrings might be uncomfortable but also difficult to achieve. This hamstring mobility release and stretch lying down uses a resistance band to help you relax while you stretch.
