Meet
Sarah Aspinall
Sarah Aspinall is the founder of Breaking Ballet and is a trained dancer and qualified RAD ballet teacher, who has years of experience helping busy women fine-tune their bodies using short, high intensity ballet-inspired workouts. She is also an ex-CMS lawyer.
She is the founder of Breaking Ballet, a unique online platform of fitness courses. BBackstage is her membership programme, which not only provides a step-by-step process showing you exactly how to incorporate exercise and healthy eating into your daily lifestyle – but supports you every step of the way to becoming the person you deserve to be.
She is a former lawyer based in the UK and a mum of two.

- A STRONG BODY & A HEALTHY MIND: You’ll learn how to listen to your body and workout daily, creating time you didn't believe you had. You will receive short (15 minutes) daily workouts directly to your inbox.
- STRONG & TONED BODY: Through short daily ballet workouts you'll develop a strong, toned body and core, to help alleviate any niggling back pain, improve your balance, reduce injury and feel comfortable in your clothes.

I had always thought that I couldn't do ballet as I am very un-co-ordinated. I do lots of yoga & I run but when I saw an online challenge in late January I thought I would give it a go. My Mum had died tragically just before Christmas and so I didn't know whether I would feel up to it. I loved it. Joined BBackstage and the encouragement from the wonderful Sarah and the ladies about all kinds of things has changed me and got me through lockdown too.

I used to be a keen runner, but since having knee surgery and being told I couldn't run any more in September 2018 I have been struggling to find some thing that fills the gap. Breaking Ballet is perfect as most of the exercises are low impact on the joints, and working out from my laptop allows me to be flexible and fit in and around my family and work. The support from Sarah and the BB community is also invaluable.
